Job Title
• Registered Nurse - PreOp

Schedule / Job Type
• Full-time, day shifts, 10-hour shifts, 4 days per week
Key Responsibilities
• Prepare patients for surgery by reviewing health history, reconciling medications, obtaining vital signs, and starting IVs.
• Monitor patients' vital signs and recovery stages following anesthesia, ensuring safety and comfort.
• Administer medications, fluids, and premedications as ordered by physicians.
• Assist in the discharge process, including reviewing discharge instructions and helping patients to the vehicle.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia, and OR staff to deliver efficient, high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.
Required Qualifications
• Valid SC or Multi-State/Compact RN license.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a perioperative or PreOp setting.
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications.
Preferred Experience / Skills
• Experience working with orthopedic, interventional radiology (VIR), or GI procedures.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
