Job Title
• Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery
Location
• Glenwood Springs, CO
Schedule / Job Type
• Full-time, temporary, days shift, 12-hour shifts, rotating weekends, with call rotation
Key Responsibilities
• Provide labor and delivery nursing care in a high-volume family birth center
• Assist with approximately 60 deliveries per month, caring for babies 32 weeks and up
• Deliver couplet care in a setting with OR, PACU, and postpartum units
• Collaborate with a compassionate, patient-centered team dedicated to evidence-based practices
• Maintain compliance with all required certifications and hospital protocols
Required Qualifications
• Current Colorado RN license or compact license valid in Colorado, in good standing
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
• STABLE certification
• Flu vaccination (no exemptions)
Preferred Experience / Skills
• Previous labor and delivery or maternity nursing experience
• Familiarity with OR, PACU, and postpartum care
• Strong team player with excellent communication skills
