- Full-time, contract - 13 weeks, nights shift, 3 shifts per week
Key Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care to high-risk maternal patients in a Level 4 maternal center
- Assist with vaginal and cesarean section deliveries, tubal ligations, cerclage placement and removal, D&C, C-hyst, and PASD procedures
- Circulate in the operating room and triage related to labor and delivery cases
- Maintain accurate documentation using EMR systems such as CPN and Meditech
- Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Adapt quickly to a fast-paced, team-oriented environment with high patient acuity
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Experience with high-risk maternal patients
- Strong circulating skills in operating room and triage settings
- Ability to perform vaginal and cesarean deliveries, along with related procedures
- Must be able to work night shifts and be available for on-call as required
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Over 5 years of nursing experience in labor and delivery or maternal-fetal medicine
- Knowledge of standardized order sets and hospital policies in obstetrics
- Experience working in a Level 4 maternal care setting
