Schedule / Job Type
- Full-time, day shifts, 12-hour shifts, 3 shifts per week
Key Responsibilities
- Providing high-risk labor and delivery nursing care in a busy maternity unit
- Circulating and recovering during C-sections and other obstetric procedures
- Monitoring fetal well-being through advanced fetal monitoring techniques
- Collaborating with healthcare team to ensure excellent patient outcomes
- Documenting patient progress and administering medications as needed
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in labor and delivery or mother-baby units
- Strong ECG interpretation skills and immediate newborn care experience
- Current BLS, ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN-Advanced Fetal Monitoring certifications
- Experience with high-risk obstetric patient management
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Previous travel nurse experience in labor and delivery settings
- Familiarity with Level 2 trauma and comprehensive stroke center protocols
