Schedule / Job Type
- Travel, Night shifts, 12-hour shifts, 3 shifts per week, 13-week assignment
Key Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care to postpartum mothers and newborns in a 23-bed Mother Baby unit
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure patient safety and comfort
- Perform procedures such as circumcisions and monitor patient progress
- Document care accurately using EMR systems
- Assist in patient education and discharge planning
- Support the unit in maintaining a compassionate and efficient environment
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a postpartum or Mother Baby unit
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Experience with Meditech or similar EMR systems
Preferred Experience / Skills
- BSN or higher degree highly preferred
- Flexibility with schedule and ability to adapt quickly to new environments
- Strong team player with compassionate, patient-centered approach
