Registered Nurse Orthopedic
Job Title

Schedule / Job Type
- Night shifts, 12-hour shifts, 3 shifts per week, potential for flexible scheduling based on unit needs
Key Responsibilities
- Provide orthopedic nursing care to patients in a short-term acute care setting
- Monitor and assess patient conditions, respond to changes, and implement appropriate interventions
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Document patient care accurately in electronic health records using EPIC
- Adhere to facility policies, including time-sensitive modules and safety protocols
- Float within scope across multiple hospital locations as needed
Required Qualifications
- 18 months of recent tele/acute care experience
- 2 or more years of orthopedic nursing experience
- Active AHA BLS and ACLS certifications (must be current at time of submission)
- NIHSS certification (must be obtained prior to start date)
- Nicotine-free, negative 10-panel drug screen required
Preferred Experience / Skills
- First-time travelers accepted with sufficient experience
- Comfortable with flexible scheduling and floating across multiple facilities
- Strong documentation skills and ability to prioritize patient safety
