Job Title
• Registered Nurse - Telemetry

Schedule / Job Type
• Full-time, Night shifts, 12-hour shifts

Key Responsibilities
• Provide direct patient care in a telemetry unit, including cardiac monitoring and dysrhythmia interpretation
• Administer medications and manage IV therapies following protocols such as Heparin and PCA
• Respond to emergency situations using rapid response teams and interpret ABGs and other respiratory assessments
• Support pre- and post-dialysis care, including renal failure management and port access
• Ensure proper wound care, infection control, and adherence to safety standards in a hospital setting

Required Qualifications
• Valid KY or compact nursing license in good standing
• 2+ years of clinical nursing experience in telemetry, neuro stepdown, or emergency response units
• Ability to pass an advanced dysrhythmia competency test and ECG exam
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Certification
• EPIC electronic medical record experience
• Ability to work night shifts and flexible with floating to different units as needed

Preferred Experience / Skills
• Experience with neuro, renal, or orthopedic units
• Knowledge of advanced cardiac protocols and telemetry equipment
• Prior experience working with complex patient populations in a hospital environment
