Schedule / Job Type
• Full-time, 13-week contract, Day shifts (4x12 hours), on-site

Key Responsibilities
• Perform clinical review and manage patient care for neonatal and pediatric respiratory cases, including NICU and PICU patients
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver quality respiratory therapy services in a children’s hospital setting
• Maintain compliance with travel, certification, and licensing requirements for assignments
• Adhere to unit-specific protocols and self-scheduling models, with flexibility for holiday and weekend coverage
• Document patient treatments accurately using Epic or equivalent charting systems
• Comply with all background, licensing, and hospital policies

Required Qualifications
• Valid state license in respiratory therapy (RRT credential); pending licenses accepted with verification of license in-hand before start date
• BLS and PALS certification required
• Minimum Level 4 NICU experience; cardiac PICU experience preferred
• Must have at least one current state license outside of Virginia if applying with a temporary license
• Certifications demonstrating clinical competence in respiratory therapy

Preferred Experience / Skills
• Neonatal and pediatric respiratory care experience in a children’s hospital setting
• Experience with Epic charting system and working within hospital’s self-scheduling models
• Knowledge of pediatric cardiac and NICU protocols
