Schedule / Job Type
- Full-time, Day shifts (3x12s, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM), with holiday rotation
Key Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care for patients in the Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU)
- Monitor patient symptoms and vital signs, ensuring stability and safety
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Document patient progress accurately in electronic health records
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
- Participate in holiday and weekend rotations, including on-call duties as needed
Required Qualifications
- Active South Carolina RN license or Compact license prior to start date
- Minimum of 1 year of recent ICU or med-surg experience (preferably 2 years)
- Current certifications in ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS
- Ability to float within scope to similar units or sister facilities
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience in Acute Care or ICU settings
- Familiarity with Epic electronic charting system
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
