Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical

Clay Center, KS
Schedule / Job Type:
Full-time, 12-hour day shifts, on a 3x12 schedule
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide patient care in a Medical Surgical unit in a critical access hospital setting
- Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans
- Monitor and assess patient conditions, respond to clinical emergencies
- Document patient information accurately and timely
- Float to different units as needed, ensuring seamless patient care across departments
- Adhere to facility policies and safety protocols
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum 1 year of RN experience in a hospital setting
- Valid RN license or Compact license in hand at submission
- BLS and ACLS certifications (must be current prior to start)
- Ability to work 7:00 AM – VII:00 PM shifts with every 3rd weekend required
- Must have or be able to obtain necessary travel compliance documentation (SSN, DOB)
Preferred Experience / Skills:
- Experience working in Critical Access Hospitals
- Ability to adapt to floating within different units
- Strong patient assessment and communication skills
