Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, contractual (per diem/temporary assignment), day shifts, 5 days per week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide acute care physical therapy services to patients in a hospital setting
• Assess patient needs and develop individualized treatment plans
• Document patient progress using EPIC electronic medical record system
• Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Float within scope as needed to different units within the hospital

Required Qualifications

• Valid Virginia or compact state license (VA or VA temporary license acceptable if valid)
• Minimum of 2 years of recent acute care experience
• Current BLS certification
• EPIC electronic health record experience
• State license must be in hand at time of submission; VA temporary license allowed if applicable
• SSN, DOB, address, phone, and email required at submission

Preferred Experience / Skills

• BSN degree preferred
• Experience with inpatient acute care and ICU settings
• Ability to work independently and adapt to different units
