Job Title

Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, Day shifts, 3 shifts per week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in the intensive care unit (ICU) within an acute care hospital setting
• Administer specialized treatments and manage complex patient conditions utilizing advanced equipment
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Document patient information accurately using Meditech electronic health record system
• Float between units as needed to meet facility staffing requirements
• Work 12-hour shifts, including 4 weekend shifts over a 4-week schedule

Required Qualifications

• Valid nursing license for California (CA)
• 1+ year of ICU experience in an acute care hospital setting
• Current ACLS, BCLS, and NIHSS certifications
• Experience with specialized ICU equipment is a plus
• Ability to work every other weekend and meet holiday commitments (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve, New Year’s Day)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a hospital with 392 beds or similar large facility
• Knowledge of Meditech charting system
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
