Registered Nurse Operating Room
Job Title
- Registered Nurse - Operating Room
Location
- Rapid City, SD
Schedule / Job Type
- Full-time, day shifts, 4 shifts per week, 10 hours per shift, no weekends or call, floating to various units/departments as needed
Key Responsibilities
- Circulate in the operating room for orthopedic, spine, foot and ankle, hand, ORIF, ENT, GYN, plastics, and general procedures
- Operate and assist with the use of surgical equipment, including MAKO robotic system for total joints and arthroscopy
- Ensure all equipment and supplies are prepared and maintained for surgical cases
- Adhere to strict safety and infection control protocols during surgeries
- Document procedures accurately and maintain patient confidentiality throughout
Required Qualifications
- SD or compact state RN license
- 3+ years recent circulator experience in the OR
- Strong orthopedic experience, including total joints and arthroscopy
- ACLS and BLS certifications from the American Heart Association (AHA)
- Experience with robotic surgery, preferably MAKO
- Ability to badge in/out at the facility
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience in spine, foot and ankle, hand, ENT, GYN, plastics, or general surgeries
- Experience with robotic-assisted procedures and equipment
