Full-time, Day shifts, 5 days per week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide speech and language therapy services to patients in a short-term acute care setting.
• Float between units as needed, supporting various patient care areas.
• Manage an expected caseload of 6-8 treatments per day while maintaining high-quality care.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Follow hospital protocols and documentation standards using Epic electronic health record system.
• Participate in rotation of weekend shifts and adapt to the unique needs of the acute care environment.

Required Qualifications

• Valid state or compact licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
• Minimum of 1 year of recent acute care experience.
• Ability to quickly adapt and function independently within a fast-paced hospital setting.
• Knowledge of inpatient rehab (IPR) procedures and preferred experience with MBS and FEE's training.
• No turn-over (t/o) preferred.
• Must have references covering at least 6 months within the last three years in a similar setting.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Acute care experience in trauma centers or similar environments.
• Familiarity with Epic charting system.
• Experience working within a Level III Trauma Center.
• Able to float across different hospital units as needed.
