Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialized nursing care for telemetry patients in accordance with physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Monitor patient heart rhythms and respond promptly to arrhythmias and other cardiac situations.
- Document patient care activities accurately and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Float to additional facilities as needed to support staffing needs.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license.
- 2+ years of nursing experience, specifically in telemetry or cardiac care.
- EPIC electronic medical record system proficiency.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from AHA.
- Ability to pass competency testing upon orientation.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working in hospital settings, particularly in cardiac or telemetry units.
- Comfortable working night shifts and floating to different facilities as needed.
