Full-time, Night shifts (12-hour nights), scheduled 36 hours per week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide emergency nursing care to a diverse elderly patient population with critical and medically challenged conditions.
• Deliver high-quality patient assessments and interventions in a cardio-focused hospital setting.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure timely and effective patient care.
• Adhere to established protocols, including passing required tests and maintaining certifications.
• Float occasionally within service lines and locations as needed, including Evanston, Glenbrook, and Skokie.
• Comply with all clinical and safety standards while working under a rotating schedule that includes one holiday and every other weekend.

Required Qualifications

• Active Illinois nursing license
• CPR and ACLS certifications
• NIH Stroke Certification, PALS, TNCC, or TNS
• Epic electronic medical record experience
• Ability to pass an EKG test with 80% or higher on the first day

Preferred Experience / Skills

• 2+ years of ER nursing experience
• Experience working with elderly and critical care patients
• Knowledge of cardio-related hospital procedures
• Ability to work on short notice with no more than 3 days off
