Job Title
• Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

Location
• Burlington, NC

Schedule / Job Type
• Full-time, Night shifts, 12-hour shifts

Key Responsibilities
• Provide comprehensive emergency care to diverse patient populations across all ages.
• Manage acute medical conditions including trauma, sepsis, stroke, and cardiac emergencies.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in a fast-paced hospital environment.
• Utilize EPIC electronic health record system for accurate documentation.
• Adhere to protocols for STEMI, stroke care, and special populations such as cancer and behavioral health.
• Participate in coverage for cath lab, women’s health, and stroke units as needed.

Required Qualifications
• Active RN license in North Carolina or eligible for license transfer.
• Minimum of 2 years of emergency room experience.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIH certification required.
• Experience with EPIC electronic health record system.
• Knowledge of STEMI and stroke protocols; experience in a STEMI/stroke facility preferred.
• Ability to pass a pass/fail EKG exam prior to start date.

Preferred Experience / Skills
• Experience working in a STEMI and stroke care environment.
• Familiarity with special care populations including cancer, sepsis, and behavioral health emergencies.
• Prior travel or per diem ER nursing experience preferred but not required.
