  • Full-time, 4 days per week, 10-hour day shifts, onsite

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide nursing care in the Cardiac Catheterization Lab, supporting diagnostic and interventional procedures for cardiac and peripheral vascular diseases.
  • Assist with coronary artery disease, peripheral vascular disease, cardiac arrhythmias, and placement of permanent pacemakers.
  • Collaborate with cardiology teams to ensure safe and efficient patient care before, during, and after procedures.
  • Maintain accurate documentation using Epic electronic charting system.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and maintain sterile environment during procedures.
  • Float within hospital or to nearby facilities as needed, supporting various departments in the hospital.

Required Qualifications

  • Valid California RN license or eligibility, with applications for pending fluoro permits at the time of submission.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a cath lab or similar setting.
  • Certifications including BLS, ACLS, and ARRT (Fluoroscopy Permit required; RCIS not acceptable).
  • Ability to work 10-hour day shifts, including weekends and major holidays.
  • Willingness to work in an acute care hospital environment with a focus on cardiac procedures.
  • Must have or be willing to obtain and maintain necessary certifications and licenses prior to start.

Preferred Experience / Skills

  • Prior experience working with Epic charting system.
  • Familiarity with coronary and peripheral vascular procedures, and cardiac device management.
  • Ability to float within the hospital or to affiliate hospitals as needed.
