• Full-time, Contract, 13-week travel assignment, Days shift

Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialized patient care for adult patients in the IMC/PCU/Stepdown unit.
• Recognize and respond to dysrhythmias and manage critical drips effectively.
• Monitor cardiac patients using GE cardiac monitoring equipment.
• Collaborate with a team of RNs and LNAs to ensure quality patient outcomes.
• Accurately document patient status and interventions in the electronic medical record (EMR).
• Maintain adherence to unit policies, safety protocols, and patient care standards.

Required Qualifications

• Valid and active Compact License required at submission.
• BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in a hospital setting, specifically within PCU or similar.
• Strong dysrhythmia recognition skills and experience managing critical drips.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience caring for post-cardiac cath and pacer patients.
• Prior experience with HCA facilities.
• Flexibility to float to Med Surg, ICU, or Emergency Department as needed.
• Ability to work confidently in high-pressure situations with excellent communication skills.
