Schedule / Job Type
- Full-time, 13-week travel assignment, dayshift (7:30 AM – 5:00 PM), 4 shifts per week
Key Responsibilities
- Provide skilled nursing care to telemetry patients in a hospital setting.
- Perform patient assessments, monitor vital signs, and manage IV starts.
- Assist with procedures such as epidural injections and joint injections.
- Collaborate with healthcare team to deliver quality patient care according to unit standards.
- Follow unit policies, dress codes, and safety procedures.
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license in North Carolina or appropriate state licensure.
- BLS certification.
- Minimum of 2 years of medical-surgical or telemetry nursing experience.
- Ability to perform IV starts and conduct thorough patient assessments.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Proficient in patient assessments and blood thinner/NSAID knowledge.
- Experience with procedures such as epidural injections and nerve blocks.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced hospital environment with critical care aspects.
