- Night shift, 3 nights per week, 12-hour shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
- Full-time
Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialized nursing care to mothers and babies during all phases of labor, delivery, and postpartum.
- Assist with multiple obstetric procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to coordinate patient care and ensure smooth unit operations.
- Utilize Epic electronic medical record system for charting and documentation.
- Flex to other units within the facility as needed to support overall patient care.
- Maintain compliance with hospital policies and certification requirements such as NRP.
Required Qualifications
- Valid MT or Compact RN license (must be in hand at submission).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification.
- Minimum 2 years of recent Labor and Delivery experience.
- Ability to float within the facility and adapt to unit needs.
- References: Two supervisory references covering at least one year, within the last three years.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience in critical access hospitals or small rural facilities.
- Familiarity with Epic EMR system.
- Previous experience with variable shift schedules and on-call requirements.
