• 12-hour night shifts / Full-time

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) and stepdown settings.
• Float between units as needed, including specialized care for cardiac patients.
• Administer insulin and cardiac drips, start IVs, and perform post-cardiac cath care.
• Document patient status and ensure compliance with all protocols using the EPIC system.
• Support patients with complex conditions such as acute coronary syndrome, post-procedural care, and hemodynamic monitoring.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver effective patient outcomes.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license and current state license in New York.
• Minimum of 1 year of Telemetry experience within the past 2 years.
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications active and current; NIHSS required prior to start.
• Experience with IV starts, cardiac/insulin drips, and post-cardiac cath care.
• Proficient in Epic electronic medical record system.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience preferred.
• Experience working in an acute inpatient telemetry or stepdown environment.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
