Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a Medical Surgical/Telemetry unit within a hospital setting.
- Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions, ensuring timely and appropriate interventions.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Recognize and respond to cardiac rhythms and other critical patient signals.
- Adhere to facility protocols and maintain compliance with all healthcare standards.
- Complete necessary documentation and assessments as part of routine patient care.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 18 months of permanent experience in Medical Surgical or Telemetry nursing prior to travel assignment.
- Valid Ohio RN license or valid compact state license.
- Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications.
- Experience working with ECG rhythm recognition.
- Ability to work at least every other holiday.
- Successful completion of ECG rhythm recognition and SafeMedicate assessments with acceptable scores during orientation.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Travel nursing experience in a hospital setting.
- Experience with electronic medical record systems.
- Strong assessment and critical thinking skills.
