Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, night shifts, 3 shifts per week (12-hour shifts)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide emergency nursing care to patients in a fast-paced ER environment.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Manage patient triage, treatment, and discharge processes efficiently.
• Adhere to hospital protocols and safety guidelines to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Complete required compliance documentation and pass necessary exams during onboarding.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of recent ER nursing experience.
• Current registered nurse license in the state of North Carolina.
• BLS, ACLS, NIH, PALS certifications.
• EPIC electronic medical record experience.
• Ability to pass required Pass/Fail EKG exam.
• Must be aware and prepared for a night shift schedule.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in STEMI/Stroke certified facilities preferred.
• Certification in TNCC is a plus.
• Prior travel nursing experience is acceptable for first-time travelers.
• Experience with STEMI and Stroke patient care preferred.

• Applicants must have completed all compliance requirements by 12 noon EST the Wednesday prior to the start date.
