Schedule / Job Type
- Full-time, contract, night shifts (3x12 hours)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialized nursing care to ICU patients during night shifts.
- Monitor and assess patient conditions, including cardiac rhythm and sedation needs.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring patient safety.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Document patient information accurately in electronic health records.
- Adhere to all compliance and safety protocols, including passing required tests.
Required Qualifications
- Valid nursing license or pending license.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of ICU experience preferred; open to less experienced candidates on a case-by-case basis.
- Ability to pass Cardiac Dysrhythmia and Moderate Sedation tests during orientation.
- Willingness to comply with travel and compliance requirements, including a 75-mile travel radius.
- Ability to work night shifts and meet attendance policies.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Recent Epic electronic medical record experience is a plus.
- Experience in cardiac, ICU, or related units preferred.
