• Full-time, Night shifts (3x12 hours per week)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality emergency nursing care to patients in a 15-bed emergency department.
• Assess, plan, and implement patient care in accordance with established protocols and physician orders.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Document patient information accurately and efficiently using Epic EHR systems.
• Monitor patient progress and respond promptly to emergencies during night shifts.
• Adhere to safety and compliance standards specific to acute care and emergency services.

Required Qualifications

• Valid VA Registered Nurse license (must be in hand or provide proof of compact license).
• Epic charting experience for all acute care hospital settings.
• NIH stroke certification and initial stroke education completed.
• Minimum of 1 year of recent ER or emergency care experience within the last year.
• All certifications and licenses attached at submittal.
• SSN required at time of submittal.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous experience working in a hospital affiliated with Riverside Health.
• Supervisory reference available (two references required for compliance).
• Flexibility to float to other units as needed based on facility needs.
