- Full-time, 4x10-hour days (12:00 PM – 10:30 PM), Monday through Friday
Key Responsibilities
- Provide postoperative care in a Level I Trauma Center PACU for adult, adolescent, and geriatric patients recovering from various surgeries including neurosurgery, ENT, orthopedics, thoracic, vascular, trauma, general, colorectal, GYN, urological, electrophysiology, interventional radiology, and transplant
- Monitor and manage artificial airways, invasive monitoring (including ICP), blood transfusions, and vasoactive drugs
- Recognize and manage dysrhythmias, administer blood products, start IVs, and manage IV vasopressors
- Care for ventilated patients and assist in patient assessments and interventions
- Collaborate with PCT/transport team and adhere to hospital protocols
Required Qualifications
- Valid State Nursing License (Missouri license or compact license in another state) at time of submission
- At least 2-3 years of Level I ICU experience, including critical care and post-op recovery
- BLS and ACLS certifications
- Critical care experience with invasive monitoring, blood products, IV management, and ventilated patient care
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with EPIC charting system
- Knowledge of trauma and surgical patient recovery, including neuro, vascular, and transplant patients
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, acute care environment requiring adaptability and teamwork

Additional Notes
- No weekend, no call, no holidays required
- Guaranteed 3 shifts per 13-week contract, with an option for longer contracts
- Must have at least 75 miles distance from the facility to qualify as a traveler
- Must complete all required modules prior to start
- Valid SSN and references required at time of submission
